Send this legislator home

Our editorial today, "Cowboy with a vendetta," offers yet another example of what is wrong with Harrisburg.

In this case, a Lancaster County senator who should be sent back to his home district for good by voters is trying to reduce the power of wildlife conservation officers because of something that happened to his son.

He called them "cowboys with guns" back then. Did he research what he was talking about? Did he look past his own son's experience to get a clue about what goes on in the woods?

I doubt it, and here's where voters should send him to the sidelines. I hope they're paying attention in Lancaster and York counties.

UPDATE: I'm told that Armstrong isn't running for re-election. That's good news. Let's hope the Legislature doesn't reward his cowboy vendetta and pass this bill.
