Moving forward

My Sunday column explains our newsprint trims and perhaps explains them better than my previous two columns on the subject, and four page one editor's notes.

Readers have sent nice notes and I thank them. As I wrote, these were tough decisions but we're now positioned to move forward with what might be considered a newspaper of the future.

I hope you enjoy the multiple entry points, and by that I mean the new breakfast briefing on page two and the Web talk segment on the weekday opinion page.
